The Assam Industries (Tax Exemption) Scheme, 2009 came into force with effect from 1st October, 2008. The Scheme is applied to the industrial units which manufactured goods in Assam which are considered eligible for partial tax exemption with reference to the Industrial and Investment Policy of Assam, 2008.
